Shipwreck in Necujam, Solta Island

Leave the ordinary behind and join us for a 8-hour adventure aboard the St. Damian boat to expore the shipwreck in Necujam bay!

This tour blends relaxation, adventure, discovery and lots of fun. During this trip we will set sail from Split and see  three of Croatia’s captivating coastal gems in the Dalmatian region. During the Blue Lagoon tour, we will explore the sea with included snorkeling equipment, live vest and then take a break in the outdoor restoraunt where our lunch takes place.

Our first destination is a hidden bay on Ciovo island called Duga Bay. The bay is typically accessible only by boat, which helps maintain its serene and unspoiled character. The clean blue water and surrounding green forests will take your breath away. Duga Bay is known for its peaceful atmosphere and a relaxing environment, making it an ideal spot to unwind away from the city crowds. While staying in Duga bay, we we will go to the restaurant where a Mediterranean lunch will be served. You can choose between grilled chicken, fish or vegetarian option. Top everything with homemade olive oil. After lunch, you can you can unwind under pine scented air, snorkel in calm shallows and enjoy the peaceful start.

Our next stop is the famous Blue Lagoon. The Blue Lagoon is a stunning bay located between the island of Drvenik Veli and the two smaller islands, Krknjaš Veli and Krknjaš Mali, in the central Dalmatian archipelago. The lagoon is famous for its incredibly clear, turquoise water and sandy seabed, creating a paradise-like setting like in the Caribbeans. The lagoon is home to a variety of fish, sea turtles, and colorful corals. Seagrasses and algae are common, and dolphins are occasionally spotted in the surrounding waters. Upon our arrival, we will drop the anchor. Once we are anchored, we will drop the bow ramp and make available other platforms on the boat that you can jump from. A large water slide is available onboard which is perfect for cooling off and having fun during our swim stops!

After the Blue lagoon lay back and relax while we set sail to our final destination. Our final destination is a sunken shipwreck at Necujam bay, Solta island. Here you can set out on an adventure by exploring the remains of a sunken wooden boat called Kontesa. The Kontesa (eng. “The Countess”) was a wooden cargo ship during World War II.  The ship sank in the 1980s during a heavy storm while moored in Nečujam Bay. Now this 25 meter long wooden wreck now a habitat for colorful fish, octopuses, crabs, sea anemones, and other sea creatures, providing a vibrant underwater ecosystem.  The shipwreck lies in shallow water at about 4 meters deep, with parts just half a meter below the surface. The shallow depth and clear waters make it an ideal site for freediving, snorkelling and paddling around.
